Helmut Mayer

Under Helmut's direction, and with his expertise in design, structural integrity, fatigue, risk and reliability, as well as strong vision and commercial skills, Mayer Bulk can make a broad and valuable contribution to developing your bulk materials handling solutions.
After beginning his career as a commercial pilot, Helmut studied aerospace engineering, obtaining 1st Class Honours, while simultaneously completing a degree in psychology. With these diverse early activities and studies, he not only gained valuable insight into mechanics and structures, but also into the human processes that drive engineering and allow abstract ideas to eventually be created into reality.
Helmut, together with Christof has bee involved with the company since it foundation in 1986. Applying his diverse skills both quickly rose to become the company’s Principal Engineers. Today, as the company’s Managing Director Helmut is responsible for all commercial, engineering and statutory issues, he is passionate about Mayer Bulk’s ongoing progress and development. His primary aim is to ensure the company delivers the highest level of design, management and other professional services to you, our clients.
